It’s the middle of class, American History, and who gives a damn about America? Not her, that’s for sure. America could suck Kira’s balls! But not literally because she had dibs on Kira.Suddenly, in the midst of her inner fuming against America and all who inhabit it, she felt an awkward buzzing in her front pocket that was just a little too close to her personal business. Squeaking, she pulled out the cell phone in her pocket and flipped the blue item open to find that she had a new text message -- from L.
Damn… Surely, he was the one thing worse than America. Though, yes, she was pro Kira, she couldn’t help but begin to fall for the sweet-toothed man. Light wasn’t too happy about that though.
“Looking forward to going over the new information with you, ________” the message said. She blushed. L made it sound like they had a date planned. As she put her phone away he happed to look up and saw that there was a hand-written note right smack dab in front of her. Light smiled from beside her. Yeah, he’d seen the text message.
On the note, written plainly and neatly in English were the words. “I love you, ________. -Light”
English. It was the only good thing to ever come from America.
